PRAYING AS JESUS PRAYED

In Matthew 26: 36-41, we have the record of Jesus praying during the last phase of his ministry on earth to redeem mankind. It was the night of his arrest, which led to his mockery of a trial and his unjust crucifixion. All these were the perfect will of God the Father and the absolute submission by Jesus to his Father’s will. There was no alternative in the comprehensive redemptive plan of the Triune God!
To his disciples, Jesus said: Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation: The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak(verse 41).

He had taken the remaining 11 disciples(Judas Iscariot excluded), to the scene which was familiar to the group of 13; Garden of Gethsemane. There also, he selected 3 of them; Peter, John and James, to draw closer, as he agonized in prayer, face downwards, knowing that the hour of his great mission to the cross drew near. He withdrew a short distance away from the 3, in order to agonise in prayer before God. Jesus focused on his mission and prayed. That was his place and moment of victory. His natural human flesh struggled with his ready and willing spirit. It was very difficult for the sinless and holiest to be treated as the worst offender because of the impending death on the cross; a judgement reserved for the accursed!

Jesus prayed saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. Having prayed thus, the victory was won. He was fully prepared to go to the cross! Matthew 26:42. An angel came from heaven to strengthen him. As Jesus agonized in prayer, he sweated a mixture of blood and water! Then he arose and went to his weary and sleepy disciples, arousing them. (Luke 22:43-46).

THE REPORTED CASES OF NEW TREND IN MODERN HUMAN SLAVERY: ALL HANDS MUST BE ON DECK TO CONFRONT AND ERADICATE THE MENACE

DISTURBING STORIES OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND TRADE IN HUMAN ORGANS: THIS WICKEDNESS MUST BE CONFRONTED AND STOPPED SPEEDILY.
If it is True that human beings are being transported to Libya and other nations, and from there, human parts are harvested for sale in the Western world; LISTEN, READ AND WATCH OUT: Such acts indicate Callousness and Wickedness. These activities stand highly condemned. All right-thinking persons accross nations should condemn the crime against humanity. No effort should be spared in exposing and prosecuting the criminals!

I decree by the grace and authority given to me by the Almighty God, through Jesus Christ, in promoting peace and human well being as follows:
Henceforth, all perpetrators and collaborators shall never sleep again. Their peace is withdrawn from them all. Wealth so acquired shall go into flames. These evil workers shall meet with attendant, mishaps, organ failures and surgical calamities, in the mighty name of Jesus. The works of their hands speak against them. The blood of the innocent which they hurriedly and recklessly shed do speak against them.

These are acts against humanity. Human trafficking and slavery must be stopped by all possible means. The United Nations, all Nations, credible non-governmental organisations and well-meaning individuals should rise up against this wicked and sickening practices.
Youths travelling abroad for better prospects should confirm their sources through their governments or other credible means, before embarking on their journeys abroad. Any arrangement through the back door or unorthodox means should be avoided. Travelling through Sahara desert, travelling via the Mediterranean ocean through reckless transporters would ruin your lives! Those clumsy methods are full of loopholes that are rife with criminal acts. Please, avoid them as plagues! Please, warn your children and our youths; especially from Nigeria and other parts of Africa to avoid these wicked traffickers.
Nobody should risk his or her life by playing into the hands of these wicked, barbaric human beings. All life matters. Please, do not toy with your lives. African governments should provide conducive bases for the creation of good jobs, so that the youths would not be unduly exposed to these New Slave Traders! God bless you all.

IMPORTANT LIFE CHOICES: WORK AND BIBLICAL MARRIAGE

You are welcome to Biblical Counselling with Agape Focus. We are considering two of the many important choices we make as human beings, namely work and marriage. Although everyone makes choices on earth; some choices are viewed as being more important than others by the different people who make them. We are focusing on work and Biblical Marriage. Everyone needs food, clothes, shelter or house. Therefore you need money from a regular job to secure these basic needs of life. Anyone who refuses to work should not rightfully expect to eat. God, our Maker, instructed us from day 1 to work and that order has not changed. You must be able to feed, clothe and house yourself before taking care of others. Christian Marriage and Biblical Marriage are one and the same, barring modern-day ignorance, which lead to misconceptions, misinterpretations and confusion.  Marriage is meant for a life time. The present human conflict over marriage does not reduce the life time importance of marriage.

Marriage is meant for companionship, sexual fulfilment and procreation. A man and a woman come into relationship that leads into marriage because they have discovered that there is mutual trust and friendship. Their desires in life are worthwhile and have good prospect. They are in love and are hopeful of spending their future lives together. They are poised to face realities such as finance, accommodation, genetic counselling, family planning and the future. As Christians, their first point of consideration is being sure of God’s leading after much prayerful thought. Good marriage counselling from more matured Christians is very essential. The final choice belongs to the two.

The modern confusion over human sexuality and marriage is not from God, the Maker of marriage. Biologically,there is no inheritable gene for homosexuality! All various claims of human sexuality, other than the traditional and natural orders of male and female do not have scientific proofs! Human beings have only decided to do things their own way. The consequences of human violations of the plan of God for mankind and marriage are destabilising and dangerous! The plan of God is 1MAN+1WOMAN=TRUE MARRIAGE. When you choose to get married, be guided by selfless love, maturity, understanding and great responsibility. Each man and woman coming together should know that it is meant  for life time, till either of them dies. Any disobedience such as in abuses and divorces brings lots of trouble; not only to the disobedient, but to the innocent children produced! Human laws in any nation or internationally which contradict the plan of God are acts of rebellion! God would punish individuals, organizations, and nations who rebel through such dirty and immoral acts, legislations or edicts no matter how highly placed. The Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah is an historical fact which has been verified by Science and Archaeology. In fact judgment has started in the present age and would be more severe and disastrous at the final day of judgement! True repentance is the only way out. Delayed repentance is also dangerous. Picking on those who uphold the truth and decency of heterosexuality is making the matter worse. Choosing the model of homosexuality is unpopular. Compelling modern society to embrace and endorse the choices of others, against their own beliefs, makes the matter worse. It is wrong, unfair, illegal and constitutes confusion-master piece! The permission of gay couples to produce children through surrogate, third-party volunteers, sends conflicting signals already; and their choice constitutes the peak of self deception and delusion. Who is fooling who? If they truly wanted children; why did they not choose the natural way through a man and a woman? Nobody can mock or deceive God. The roles of the USA and UK governments and governments in the Western world are not only unpopular, but also unfair, since the views of the minority are being imposed upon the majority, through the back doors of legislation and judiciary! We demand a REFERENDUM!
Another problem is that of divorce. Marriage has been turned into a plaything. People enter into marriage, sitting on the edge and watching critically. At the least provocation and manifestation of problems, they opt for separation or divorce. It was not so in the beginning. It is a great responsibility for a father and a mother to bring up children together. How much harder it would be for only one parent to carry the burden alone! Generally, children brought up without responsible male and female adults living under the same roof as parents are not as balanced as those living in normal, married heterosexual relationships. Give God room in your personal and family lives. Reverence for God, selfless love, and consideration for others, especially your spouse, would help to keep your relationship alive. Allowing God to help you would enable you to experience stability, peace of mind and joy.
