Jesus said: I am the vine, you are the branches: He who abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. John 15:5.
You and I in Christ, inside of God Almighty brings and assure absolute security and sufficiency. God is our Source-Being.
Mankind craves independence. Successful independence is that which is hinged on our dependence on God. God equips us with his enormous and all-sufficient self and sends us forth to impact the world, as his Ambassadors. We have the powerful message of peace and deliverance for mankind. It is the divinely ordained word of reconciliation with God. And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. 2Corinthians 5:18.
The abiding and assuring presence of the LORD is in us and around us, to propel us. This is awesome and powerful. We should go forth and declare the good news of God restoring peace, hope, wholeness and new life to a world gripped with fear, torment and confusion.
Through Jesus Christ, God reconciles the world unto himself. God no longer calls mankind guilty nor passes condemnation upon us. To those who have trusted him and surrendered their lives to him, he has authorised and commissioned to bear the message of reconciliation. That is what Ambassadors do.
Ambassadors for Christ are they whose lives have been transformed from within. The old life has been done away with; the new life has begun. We now carry the message of living hope to men and women in every land: An old song readily comes to mind. “If any man be in Christ 2ce. He is a new creation. The old things have passed away; And all things are new. If any man be in Christ 2ce. He is a new creation; And all things are new.” It is the newness of life which is tangibly demonstrated in words, action and the accompanying power of God.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: We earnestly urge you as representatives of Christ that you be reconciled to God. God did make Christ, who is sinless to become sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5: 17-21
