There is a time and a season for everything a person does in this world of ours.
What the preacher said ages ago is very relevant during such times as these. How much we all need to pay close attention to what God says to us, through the preacher.
There is time to embrace and time when to refrain from doing so. There is time to shake hands, kiss or cover your mouth and there is time when to refrain from doing so. There is time always to wash your hands and clean your surroundings; and keep doing so, as deemed necessary. Please, be vigilant and take good care of yourself, your family, your home, your community, nation and humanity. Eat healthily and drink good water. Do so safely, and watchfully. Go to hospital if necessary.
To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1.
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing. Ecclesiastes 3:5.
The LORD shall preserve us from all evil. He shall preserve our souls.
The LORD shall preserve us when going out and when coming in; for ever and ever. Psalms 121:7-8.
The menace of Coronavirus has touched every continent, excepting the Antarctica. It is spreading like wildfire across nations. The impact must be brought under control. No effort, experience, skills, facilities, funding and knowledge should be monopolized, or denied others in fighting the disease.
The porosity and link via the atmosphere and the interaction between individuals, few nations and internationally engulfing the whole human family, make it mandatory for sharing of expertise. Nigeria was a pacesetter during the past outbreak of Ebola. Any nation, whether rich or financially poor could be an asset in human resources. Please, let us all combine resources in defeating Coronavirus and moving forward to face other vital challenges of the day. United, we stand; divided, we fall. Denying your neighbour timely help could prove dangerous for you later. Let us help as opportuned to do so.
