It is good that the government is making efforts to involve ‘all comers’ in ensuring safety in the community by launching the new campaign against ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR. With the discarding of Anti-social behaviour orders(ASBO), it is important to stress that waiting for the occurrence of 5 incidents before appropriate action is taken may become too late in certain cases. It is commonly said that ‘A stitch in time saves nine’. Offenders may simply be encouraged to do worse things if prompt action is not taken to bring them to order.Let the government open a special forum for more public contribution towards ensuring a success of the programme. Please, let this particular aspect be reviewed in order to avoid possible regrets. May God help us all.
